Designing Warehouses for What Comes Next
From the outside, logistics looks quiet, repetitive and almost invisible. Then one day a company scales faster than its competitors, and everyone asks: was it the robots? The AI? Host Steffen Larvoll opens The ARC 2026 with a different answer. An automated warehouse is a ten-year commitment built on a design basis that will turn out to be wrong. The only question is how wrong, and in which direction. Steffen sets out the three questions that run through the day (Decide, Build, Run) and asks how we design warehouses that can handle what we don’t know yet.
